Melamine-faced MDF
A good-looking surface, a wide colour range, easy to work with
MDF — medium density fibreboard — is made from wood ground to a fibre and pressed back together with resin.
The melamine facing is what you see and touch: it carries the colour and the surface texture, and it is what makes one board suit a wardrobe and another a shop counter.
