The material system
Materials that match
for finished furniture
Trúc Mộc supplies melamine-faced engineered panels and PVC edge banding, chosen for the way furniture is actually made — by workshops, contractors, and design and installation firms.
We concentrate on products with broad application, that combine easily and machine without trouble.
One panel code — one material system — one matched way to finish it.
01
Melamine-faced MDF
A fine surface, easy to work with, at home in most furniture
Melamine-faced MDF is the material most widely used in contemporary furniture manufacturing. The MDF core is uniform and dimensionally stable with a flat face, and the melamine layer over it opens up a wide choice of colours, grains and finishes.
Trúc Mộc selects codes that work in practice — from domestic furniture through to office, retail and commercial fit-outs.
Strengths
- A flat, even face that machines cleanly.
- A wide choice of colours and surface grains.
- Combines easily with different interior styles.
- Suited to batch production.
- Pairs with matching edge banding, code for code.
- Efficient where both appearance and cost matter.

- Wardrobes, kitchen units, TV units, desks, beds, cabinets and storage.
- Office furniture

03
PVC edge banding
A finished edge, matched to the face of the board
A good board deserves an edge finished to the same standard.
Edge banding covers the exposed core after cutting and protects the edge in use. When its colour matches the face of the board, the finished piece reads as one continuous surface.
Trúc Mộc supplies edge banding in the colours of its board codes, so a workshop can specify and finish from a single palette.
Strengths
- Colour matched to the board face.
- Covers the exposed core after cutting.
- A cleaner, better-finished edge.
- Protects the edge in everyday use.
- Suits a wide range of furniture.
Applications
- Cabinet doors and carcasses.
- Tables, shelving and storage units.
- Kitchen units and wardrobes.
- Reception and display counters.
- Partitions and any joinery built from engineered board.
The Trúc Mộc palette
From the panel face to the edge
matched in every detail
A colour is never judged on the board alone: it is considered together with its edge banding, so a workshop can carry one material decision from the face right through to the finished edge.
